Who Should Take This Course:
Any employee who has the ability to ring up an alcohol sale in grocery stores, convenience stores, liquor stores or any retail establishment that sells alcohol for off-premise consumption

TopShelf Certificate of Completion

Length of Course:About three (3) hours


TABC Responsible Wine Vendor Certification (required for any employee or manager that could possibly work a register and ring up a wine sale)

This course is appropriate for any business that wants to train employees in legal and responsible alcohol sales. Learn how to sell liquor, wine and beer responsibly and protect yourself and your employer from legal liability. Lessons cover relevant state-specific alcohol laws and TopShelf proprietary CODES of carding, a five-step process to help you properly examine an ID. Experienced instructors use scenarios to help you apply what you learn to real-life situations. Class fee includes workbooks and handouts.
